Ensemble Multiphone

Ensemble Multifoon, founded in 1995, consists of professional percussionists and gamelan players. The chromatic gamelan offers composers the opportunity to combine gamelan with western instruments. The ensemble will play works by Philemon Mukarno, Joey Roukens, Andries van Rossem, Christina Viola Oorebeek, Simon Clark, Michael Norris and Christian Détlefsen, as well as compositions by founder Sinta Wullur.

Global Gongs

Ensemble Global Gongs, founded in 2020, consists of amateur and professional gamelan players. The repertoire is   aimed at minimal music, inspired by non-western music. The set of instruments is set up like a theatrical installation, which offers space for rituals and gatherings.

Samasa

Jazz-fusion groupSamasa consists of Sinta Wullur, vocals and piano, Martijn Baaijens, guitar, Daniël van Huffelen, bass and Kim Weemhoff, percussion. The ensemble plays compositions by Martijn Baaijens and Sinta Wullur. Their work is a fusion of Indian raga and jazz, with songs such asBhairav Blues (Martijn) en Bangla Satie Blues (Sinta) of the CD Blue Raag.

Duo Merpati

The classical Duo Merpati consists of Sinta Wullur (vocals and piano) and Monique Coppens (piano). Their repertoire includes several song cycles. Malaysian Pantoons,poems translated into Dutch by Hella S. Haasse; 

tagore songs,original songs by Rabindranath Tagore, and indo songs, well-known traditional Indonesian songsFor these cycles, Sinta Wullur wrote contemporary piano accompaniments, a mix of gamelan patterns and references to Western classical music. In addition to the songs, they also play transcriptions of Balinese gamelan for two pianos by the composer Colin McPhee.

Raga Impressions

Under the umbrella of Raga Impressions, Sinta Wullur plays together with a pool of musicians from the Indian music world. The neo classical minimal music, raga improvisations, own compositions and works of Philip Glass are suitable for every stage, but also for celebrations and commemorations. 

Gamelan Friends

Gamelan Friends plays traditional gamelan. A gender wayang duo brings ceremonial Balinese music on two genders. Accompanied by a small Javanese gamelan ensemble, Sinta sings Javanese songs. Gamelan Friends plays parade music on gongs and cymbals inspired by Balinese balaganjur.
